Raymond Leonard Spink

On Sunday, October 16, 2022, Raymond Leonard Spink, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away. He was 81. Born to his loving parents Mable and Leonard Spink in Mayerthorpe, Alberta, Raymond spent his formative years in Trail, B.C. before finally settling back in the Greencourt area of Alberta, where he met Colleen, the love of his life. She became his wife in 1960. They were together for 62 years.

Raymond was active in his various careers including the Canadian National Railway and the Commissionaires but his greatest passion was his family where he spent untold hours supporting, uplifting, encouraging and simply enjoying the wonderful life he and Colleen created. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children: Leslie (Patty), Lori, Lonnie (Trish), Jeremy (Carissa), and Leonard (Claire); grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott), Eric, Amanda, Hanna, Katelyn, Breanne, Isabella, Callum, Aislyn, Marra, Raymond, and Andrew; as well as his great-grandchildren, Blake and Harper.
