John "Jan" VanderLeest passed away peacefully on Dec 1st, 2022, claiming his victory in Christ.

Survived by his loving wife, Hilary; children: Marsha (Will), Susan (John), Judy (Eric), and Frank (Karen); 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Jelly, Jenny, and Rommy. Predeceased by his sisters, Anny, Miny, Simy, and Henny.

His faith was simple, strong, and secure. His heart was filled with deep gratitude to his Lord and Savior for the life that he had. In his own words, "We live in a land of abundance, and the Lord has blessed us richly. To Him be the praise and glory." He brought a bounty of joy to our lives and will be deeply missed. Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Grampy, Brother, forever in our hearts.

A private family memorial will take place.
