Willard �??Bill�?� James Hilger

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Willard "Bill" James Hilger on March 8, 2023, in Edmonton at the age of 97.

Bill was born in Claresholm, Alberta, in 1925, and later moved to Edmonton as an adult to raise his family with his beautiful wife, Margaret. Bill retired and moved to Nanaimo, BC, where he and Margaret enjoyed the ocean and weather. After Margaret's passing, he moved to Dalroy, AB, to spend time with family. He will be remembered as a dedicated father and grandfather.

He will be forever in the hearts of his children, Linda, Russ, Ed, Bill and their partners; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous wonderful nieces and nephew; and by many other relatives and friends.

At Bill's request no formal service will be held.
