On March 23, 2023, our beloved husband, dad, and Opa went home to his heavenly Father at the age of 93.

Jakob was a devoted, caring husband and father. His strong faith in God, with a servant heart, was a role model for all his family.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Annetta; children: Carolin (Bill) Visscher, Doug (Val) Leffers, Jo-Ann (Jack) Winkel, Renee (Tim) Van Beek, Annette Lynn (Gerry) Boes, Pauline Leffers, and Reg (Christa) Leffers; 19 grandchildren: Ryan, Karen, Aaron, Jenay, Warren, Emerson, Cohen, Jaren, Morgan (Matthew), Kelsey (Cameron), Simon (Kennedy), Roger (Jordynn), Nolan, Jordan (Jenna), Jackson, Adam, Levi, Anika, and Amos; and 6 great-grandchildren: Abby, Lauren, Melanie, Eden, Jude, and Asher.

Jakob is also survived by his sisters, Maggie (Henk) Hofsink and Mary Kok; and brother, Andy (Helen). He was predeceased by his sister, Griet Van Dyk; and brothers, Klaas, George and John.

A Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Providence Canadian Reformed Church, 12905 112 Ave, Edmonton.
