On Monday, June 12, 2023, Jerry Hofstede passed away peacefully in his home and went to be with his Lord at the age of 68 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Berendina (nee Uunk) and Gijsbert Hofstede; and nephew, Jeremy Peter Zuidhof.

Jerry will always be lovingly remembered by his siblings: John (Trudy), Trudy (Peter) Zuidhof, Ron (Tina), Wilma (Alex) VanderWey, Brenda (Ed) Rypstra, Irene (Norm) Fennema, and Alice; stepmother, Mary Hofstede; stepsisters, Carolyn (Bob) Lindemulder, Cathy (Len) Vaarstra, Wenda (Tim) Salomons, and Colleen (Karl) Krey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton on Tuesday evening, June 20, 2023 between 7:30 and 9:00 p.m.

A private burial will be held.
