Edaniel Van Ry

of Edmonton

A celebration of Edaniel 'Edo' Van Ry's life will be held on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at Covenant Christian Reformed Church 9010 87 Ave NW, Edmonton Alberta at 2:00PM.

Edo will be remembered by his wife Wilma of 56 years along with his children: Daniel (Jannine), Peter (Yvonne), James (Nadja), Paul (Larissa), Susie (Rhooby); along with 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sister, Marina (Spike); along with numerous nephew's and nieces including brother and sister in laws and too many friends to count.

Edo was predeceased by his father, Pieter and mother, Nel, as well as his son, Jonathan.

Edo was extremely hard working and held careers in the automotive industry and construction. He took pride in his work and was successful in his endeavors. Edo was the head councilor for the Cadet program at the CRC church for many years, and poured his heart and soul into this volunteer position. He found it extremely rewarding and loved making a positive difference in these young peoples lives.

Edo loved his family more than life itself. Being the father of 6 children he worked hard to provide for his family while still ensuring he made time for all the extra curricular activities.

When Edo could no longer work, his love for building Lego and camping took over. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grand children and great grandchildren. Many wonderful memories were made and he will be missed tremendously.
