William Vriens

of Edmonton

William Vriens passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023, at the age of 92 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Doris (Roland), Corey (Jean), Andy, Annette (Nick); eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; his siblings, Trudy (Piet), Bert (Theresa), Toon (Mookie). Extended family in Canada and the Netherlands also mourn his passing.

William was predeceased by his loving wife, Rita; and two sisters, Maartje and Antonia.

William and Rita loved our family and were so proud of all of us. As a family we were fortunate enough to have many years of love and support from our parents and grandparents.

A Celebration of William's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society.
