With heavy hearts and much love, the family of Noel Ernest Foster of Edmonton announce his passing on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 90.
Noel will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of over 65 years, Barbara, son, David (Alice); daughters, Karen, Sandra (Randy), Dawna (Paul); grandsons: Jordan, Jason, Nicholas, and Matthew; Rachel, Ed and Reed Sundby, and a large extended family. Noel's greatest legacy is as an exceptional and caring husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, and friend.
Noel was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Miriam, who chose him to be a part of their loving family; his two sisters, Dilys and Joyce, and their spouses.
Honoring Noel's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to recognize and celebrate Noel's life will be arranged at a future date. For all those whose lives were touched by Noel, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to the Cross Cancer Institute or Alzheimer's Society of Alberta in Noel's name be considered.
