It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mom, and Oma, Gesina Grootkarzyn, at the age of 100 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Gerrit; her children, Ron (Colette), Pat, and Cindy (Sheldon); her favourite grandchildren, Hayley (Chris), Alanna, and Jolene; as well as her brother, Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Private family Graveside Service will take place at Little Mountain Cemetery. The family invites you to join them for the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Emmanuel Community Church, 6505 140 Avenue, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the University Hospital Foundation, Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, Donor Office - Room 1H1.91, WMC, 8440 - 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2B7.
