Isabelle Rachel Walsh passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2024, at the age of 96 years.

Isabelle will be lovingly remembered by her children: Kathy, Maureen (Calvin), Jim (Kathleen); 5 Grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Isabelle was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years Dave; parents, Alex and Isabella; and brothers, Alex and Jim.

Born at home on September 14th, 1927, Isabelle went on to live a life dedicated to her family after a shortened career as a stenographer for the Alberta and British Columbia Government.

In earlier times Isabelle spent time volunteering for the Elizabeth Fry Society, her church, and enjoyed her weekly swims, and ceramic classes. Isabelle’s love for writing involved many writing classes which led to published pieces in the Edmonton Journal.

In her last years Isabelle participated in many activities at her assisted living residence, where she was beloved by all.

Isabelle will forever be remembered for her love for God and family.
