On September 12, 2024, Peter Kempenaar of Edmonton passed away at the age of 90 years.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Julianna; his son, Gerry; his daughter, Julie; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister and one brother.

He was predeceased by his eldest son, John; and his son-in-law, Harold.

A Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Foster & McGarvey Downtown Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 1R5.
