It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Silzer, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, on November 13, 2024.
Don is survived by his devoted wife, Caroline, who stood by his side through every chapter of their life together. He also leaves behind his three loving children: Chantelle Silzer (Brad), Carmen Green (Shawn), and David Silzer (Carrie).
In addition, he leaves behind his four granddaughters, Alicia (Jer) and Kennedy Green and Shayla and Mya Silzer. He will be remembered dearly by his surviving close relatives and the many, many friends he made.
Don was known for his unshakable faith, love of music, and sense of humor. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and warmth, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Don’s life was a testament to hard work, devotion, and grace. His faith was a guiding light, and his love of music brought joy to all those around him. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on November 25th, 2024, at 2:00 pm in St. Albert. Funeral Home.
