Early on Thursday, June 9, Evelyn passed away peacefully in the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital. Her influence will live on through the many lives she touched. She is survived by her husband, Doug; her children, Wendell (Danielle), Janelle Herbert (Aaron) and Kevin; as well as by her grandchildren, Darren, Lisa, Tamara, Evie and Layne. She also leaves her mother, Anne; and siblings, John, Mark, Dianne and Glenn along with their families. Evelyn is predeceased by her father, Theo Bandstra. To celebrate Ev's life, a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Community Church, 14204-25 Street, Edmonton. A Graveside Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Little Mountain Cemetery, 16025 – 50 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Micah Centre (www.micahcentre.ca) would be appreciated.
