On Friday, July 8, 2011, Allan DeHaan passed away at the age of 86. He is survived by Tina, his wife of 62 years; his sons, Alex, George (Annette), Ron (Sharon), and Raymond (Christine); daughter, Susan; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family also wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at Miller Crossing for the care and compassion they provided Allan over the 3 years he was with them. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 11905 - 47 Street, Edmonton, where the Funeral Service will commence at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
