On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, Gerald Macdonald of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Jennifer; four children, Ken (Luci), Keith (Wendy), Shelley (Leo) and Shauna (Mike); two grandchildren, Kent and Kapri; three sisters, Verla, Laura and Catherine as well as many nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Margaret Macdonald; three brothers, Walter, Delmar and Gordon; two sisters, Flora Nell, and Mary Alice as well as his grandson, Shaun. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 12810-111 Avenue, Edmonton with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611-St. Albert Trail Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Gerald’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 11227 Jasper Ave., Suite 202, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5.
