On Thursday, April 5, 2012 Wayne Clyde Hale passed away at the age of 65 in Devonshire Care Centre, after a long struggle with Parkinson ’s disease. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carol Hale; mother, Betty Hale both of Edmonton; children, Kyle (Kelly) Hale of Golden, B.C, Kelly (Mike Schimanowsky) Hale of Kelowna, B.C., Carolyn (Ian) Selin and Denise (Erin) Forwick-Whalley both of Edmonton; grandchildren, Mason Hale, Taylor Hale, Erin Selin and Amy Selin, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Jim Hale on December 26, 1987. Wayne was a wonderful friend and a gentle and loving man to all who knew him. A visitation will take place at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 St., Edmonton on April 10, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 11223 - 51 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Alberta, 102, 5636 Burbank Crescent S.E., Westech Building, Calgary, Alberta, T2H 1Z6.
