Eileen was born and grew up in Gray, Sask. After completing High School, she moved to Edmonton, graduating from the University of Alberta in 1949 with a BSc. Degree. This was followed by thirty-one years at the Provincial Laboratory of Public Health of Alberta where she was recognized for her dedication and performance of a high standard. Eileen will be forever lovingly remembered by her husband, Dr. Vincent Kadis; her twin sister, Doreen; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister June. There will be a private family funeral. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
