Hermannes (Herman) Vanderveen

The Lord took to Himself, my beloved husband, our father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Herman will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Dina Vanderveen (nee Plaggenmarsch); children, Gerrit and Pietje, Ann and Norman, John and Marion, Marty and Silvia, Harry, Dennis and Andrea; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Geertje.

A Visitation will take place at the St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, on Monday, October 1, 2012 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

A Memorial Service will be held at Providence Canadian Reformed Church, 12905 122 Avenue Northwest, Edmonton, on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., Reverend R Aasman as celebrant.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Shepherd’s Care Vanguard for their compassionate care of our husband and father.
