On April 11, 2013 Rudy passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital. He will be dearly missed by his sons, Mark (Valerie), Ted (Vivian) Whitehead; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Whitehead; grandchildren, James (JoAnn), Bill (Stacey), Ruben (Beverly), Barrett, Bridgette; several great grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends. Rudy was predeceased by his wife Margaret and son Bob Whitehead. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Riverbend United Church, 14907-45 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Prostate Cancer Canada, 2 Lombard Street, 3rd Floor, Toronto, ON, M5C 1M1 or to a charity of your choice.
