It is with extreme sadness the family of Elizabeth Hamilton announce her passing on April 18, 2013, after a brief illness, at the age of 87.

Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Shirley (Leo) St. Pierre; her son Gordon (Debbie) Hamilton and her daughter Susan; 10 grandchildren ; 12 great grandchildren; her good friend Steve Chorney; as well as her brother Alex (Rita) McConnell in Scotland.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Robert and daughter Joan.

A Memorial Reception will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 4th, 2013, at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home; 10011-114th Street NW.

Elizabeth’s family would like to thank the staff at the University Hospital on ward 5D3 and the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
