On June 26, 2013 Bardina Duiker was called home at the age of 95. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Hans (Joan), Bill (Joyce), Harry (Marie), Bob (Gail), Barend (Darlene), Ben (Menny) and Fred (Peggy); daughter-in-law Pat; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous relatives in Holland and Canada. Bardina was predeceased by her husband Hans, son Gerrit and grandson Don. A Visitation will be held between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. A Graveside Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 16410 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 11905 – 47 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 7814 - 83 Street, Edmonton, AB, T6C 2Y4.
