On Thursday, July 18, 2013, Violet Wood of Edmonton, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Tom (Rita) and Sylvia (Glenn); step children Larry (Joyce), Sandy and Margaret; daughter-in-law Vivian; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and many dear friends.

Violet was predeceased by her husband Henry and stepson Jerry.

A Celebration of Violet’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Chapel, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, AB.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Violet’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
