On August 12, 2013, the Lord called home into eternal glory our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Anne Hogenes, at the age of 96.

Anne was born in Amsterdam in 1916 and immigrated to Canada with her husband and young family in 1949.

Anne will be dearly missed by her children, Nancy (John), Audrey (Wilco), Alice (Herman) and Ken (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Glenn (Rebecca), Carita (Kevin), Mark (Teresa), Johnathan (girlfriend, Kelsey), Michelle (Rob), Charlene (Ben), Brendan, Lane, Daniel (Erin), Melodie, Ryan (Heather) and Samantha (Chris); and also her great grandchildren, Lynnea, Hannah, Elise, Madilyn, Rachael, Marie, James, Abigail, and Luke. Anne also leaves behind 4 sisters-in-law.

Anne was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Gerrit; her grandson, Brian; and all her 6 siblings.

The family thanks the staff of Kensington Village for their care of our mother over the past years.
