In Loving Memory of

Hiroshi Harry Sameshima

It is with great sadness that the family of Hiroshi Sameshima announces his passing on August 21, 2013 at the age of 86.

Hiro was predeceased by his loving wife Lillian and siblings Muney, Fusako and Amy.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Tosh Takeda, Kay (Roy) Senda, Laiko Mimura, Robert (Kazuko) Sameshima, Aiko (George) Legge, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Hiro was an active member of the Kirk United Church. He loved golfing, travelling, and spending time with his friends from the Japanese Canadian Association. He volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels and was a long time member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union - UA Local 488.

The family would like to thank the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital and at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute for all of their care and compassion.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Kirk United Church, 13535 - 122 Avenue, Edmonton.
