Lee is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Samis); son Brad (Beth) of Bamfield, and their daughters Heather of Nigeria and Jane (Scott) of Vancouver; daughter Brenda (Brett) of Los Angeles, and their daughters Robyn of Chicago and Aubrey of Los Angeles; daughter Michele (Craig) of Madden, and their sons Bryce and Marshall of Ottawa; and Penny (Gary) and their daughter Eden, all of Vancouver. Lee is also survived by his sister Myrtle of Independence; brother Ken of Edmonton; brother Raymond of Calgary; brother Dennis of Victoria, and sister Diana of Boise. Lee was born in Outlook, Saskatchewan and lived in small towns in Saskatchewan and Alberta until coming to Edmonton in 1947 where he attended Garneau High School. He was a proud member of the University of Alberta graduating medical class of 1958. Lee Joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1957 and served as a medical officer and flight surgeon in Marville France, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ottawa, Ontario, and Cold Lake, Alberta. Lee left the air force in 1972 to return to his beloved University of Alberta. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, located at 10011 – 114th Street, Edmonton.
