On Saturday, October 26, Jakob Hendrik Kits went to be with his LORD in his 82nd year. Jakob was shaped by the war in the Netherlands and then immigrated as a young man with his family to Red Deer, Alberta. He went on to raise a family with his wife Penny Kits-Groeneveld (who predeceased him in 2005) and to pastor congregations in Agassiz, Surrey and Duncan, BC as well as several in Edmonton, Alberta.

Jakob’s family and many friends will miss him very much, but we have abundant fond memories which we always will treasure, and we are confident that he is safe in the arms of his heavenly Father.
