It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our precious wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Millicent (Millie) Nelson who passed away peacefully after a gallant battle. In her own unique way she leaves us with this…

I leave to mourn my loving husband of 57 years Glen, the greatest children in the world Glenn & Carole Nelson, Kevin & Debbie Nelson, Denna & Daryl Gates, 7 wonderful grandchildren Derrick & Caitlyn Gates, Lee Gates, Amber and David Poon, Carlene & Henery Duke, Kirstie Nelson, Brennan Nelson and Amy Lee Nelson. The lights of my life included 3 great grandchildren Adyson & Jaxxon Gates and Kamora Lee Poon. I am also survived by sisters Famie (George) Desutter and Treva (Hugh) Baron, Sister-in-law June McPherson, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. At my request cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held in my honour.
