It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald Innes Walmsley at the age of 91. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A gifted musician, a Royal Air Force and Canadian Air Force Veteran and a Nobleman with the Al Shamal Shriner’s.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, silly jokes, determination and fierce love for his family.

Predeceased by his love of 71 years, his wife Violet. He is survived by their four daughters, Diane Pysh (Wayne), Donna Widrick (Brian), Marilynn Walmsley and Carol Weinbeer (Horst); seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren plus one on the way.

He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed, especially at the dinner table where he had a captive audience to listen to his jokes.

At his request there will be no service at this time.

The family would like to thank all the compassionate staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their exceptional care.
