On April 15, 2014, Hilda Binnema (Scholtens) went to be with her Lord after 91 years of her life on this earth. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Aukje, Jacob (Magda), Herma, Hank (Margaret), Garry, Calvin (Wilma), Ted (Helen), Tim (Christina); 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Henk; two sisters, Sjouk and Henny. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Jacob; four brothers and three sisters. A Visitation will be held at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton on Saturday, April 19 2014, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A Service of consolation and hope will be held at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 13427 – 57 Street, Edmonton on Saturday April 19, 2014, at 4:30 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the General Hospital Unit 10Y for their amazing love and care and treating her as if she were their own "Oma".
