On Wednesday evening, May 28, 2014, Evelyn passed away at the age of 92.

She will be forever held in the hearts of her 9 children, Pete (Phyllis), Charles (Maaike), Jackie, Cathy, Raymond, James, Linda (Glenn), Robin, & Cindy (Wayne); 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters and their families in Holland and Germany.

Evelyn will be fondly remembered by the congregation of Grace United Church, the staff of Sherwood Park Laurier House, and the many friends, both young and old, whose lives she touched. The family extends a special thanks to Cheryl Urquhart for her devotion and tender loving care during Evelyn\'s last years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Grace United Church, 6215-104 Avenue, Edmonton.

While Evelyn loved flowers, donations may be made to Grace United Church, or the Stollery Children\'s Hospital Foundation.

Cremation has taken place.
