It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and dear friend, Eva Duncan McGregor, one week shy of her 102nd birthday.

Eva will be dearly missed and forever loved by her two sons, Andrew Douglas and Bruce; brother, Andy Watson; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Eva was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andrew in 1989 and her parents, Andrew Douglas Watson and Margaret McPhee Watson.

Eva was born in Dumbarton, Scotland and came to Canada as a young child with her parents. Eva met and married the love of her life, Andrew McGregor, son of Elizabeth Wilson McGregor and Andrew McGregor, in 1939.

As a young woman, Eva worked at the Edmonton Journal and later was the Vice President of McGregor Construction where she worked alongside her husband Andrew and her son Douglas.

A Celebration of Eva’s Life will take place on her 102nd birthday on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
