On October 14, 2014, Bert passed away peacefully at the age of 100 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 73 years, Eileen; son, Ken (Barb) in Devon; daughter, Cheryl (Don) Johnson in Sangudo; grandsons: Sean, Kelly, and Clint; and sister, Jeanette Paterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Rosedale, 4480 McCrae Avenue, Edmonton.
