On October 24, 2014, Mrs. Peg Slater of Edmonton passed away at the age of 93 years.

Peg was predeceased by her loving husband Len in 2004 and her granddaughter Christina in 2011. Peg leaves to mourn two sons, Martin (Gayell) of Edmonton, Chris of Nanaimo, B.C.; two daughters, Penny (Marcel) LeGroulx of Edmonton, and Linda of Edmonton; eight grandchildren: Carmen (Paul), Jill, Cathy (Rob), Ken (Mika), Christopher, Sarah Joy, Marc (Aubrey), Sheri (Mark); seven great-grandchildren: Joseph, James, Ethan, Anthony, Lucas, Morrison and Jenna; nephews, John (Tisha) Pyke, Clive (Jan) Pyke and Ian (Dean) Ross.

A Celebration of Peg's Life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 8420 - 145 Street, Edmonton. Reverend Chris Roth will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Timothy's Anglican Church.
