It is with sorrow that the family announces the passing of Maurits "Morris" Kool, at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband, father, and Opa, Morris will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Anna "Ann"; sons, Peter (Michelle) and David (Michelle); by his cherished grandchildren, Chelsey, Kathleen, Deanna, Joshua and Shannon; by his brother, Simon Kool; and by many friends. A Visitation will take place on Friday, November 18th, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 St., Edmonton. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at West End Christian Reformed Church, 10015 - 149 St., Edmonton. The family wishes to thank all friends for their prayers and support. Special thanks also to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion during Morris' stay.
